ROCKERS UNITE AGAINST NUCLEAR WEAPONS
British rockers KAISER CHIEFS, RAZORLIGHT and FRANZ FERDINAND are all backing a new campaign for nuclear disarmament.
The trio are among 53 bands throwing their weight behind the campaign, which is urging the British public to stand up against nuclear weapons and the threat of nuclear war.
It comes ahead of a Parliamentary vote to replace the country's current nuclear weapons system Trident.
Fellow campaigner IAN BROWN says, "Why do we need these weapons. Is someone going to attack us? ...It is a lie to say these nuclear weapons are necessary for the UK but older civilisations are not allowed them. Say NO to Trident."
