ROCKER BOWMAN RUSHED TO HOSPITAL AFTER BBC FREE FESTIVAL

British rockers THE PIGEON DETECTIVES have scrapped two upcoming shows after frontman MATT BOWMAN suffered a serious leg injury while performing at an English music festival on Saturday (10May08).
The I'm Not Sorry stars were playing at British event Radio 1's One Big Weekend in Mote Park, Maidstone, when singer Bowman hurt his leg and was rushed to a nearby hospital.
The star feared for the worse when it was initially thought he would have to undergo emergency surgery, but was later transferred to a hospital in his native Leeds, England to recover.
The group have been forced to cancel two shows in Ireland, which were scheduled to take place in Dublin on 13 May (08) and in Belfast, Northern Ireland on 14 May (08).
However, they are expected to restart their tour in Glasgow, Scotland on 17 May (08).
