RIVERS' TRAFFIC MISHAP

JOAN RIVERS stunned motorists in New York on Monday (14Sep09) when she stopped to sign autographs after her limo ploughed into a bus.
The comedienne was heading for a gig in Atlantic City, New Jersey when her chauffeur-driven stretch clipped a coach at the corner of 40th Street and Lexington Avenue in Manhattan.
Traffic ground to a halt after the shunt - but Rivers entertained passengers on the bus by posing for photos and handing out signed mementos.
She tells New York Post gossip column PageSix, "No one was injured. In fact, the only one who seemed irritated by the whole affair was a tiny Jewish woman who kept saying, 'I don't care who is in the limo. I have somewhere to be!'"
