RIOTS FOLLOW TEXAN RAP CONCERT

A rap concert in Texas featuring WEBBIE, 2 PISTOLS and COLBY O'DONNIS has been marred by violence after a series of fights broke out following the gig. Twelve people were arrested after Thursday's (20Mar08) concert in Galveston, Texas, which was held as part of Spring Break celebrations - when U.S. students take extended leave. Fighting reportedly broke out on the beach where the gig was held and the entire local police force was enlisted to help calm tensions. Officers are said to have spent almost four hours clearing the surrounding streets. No injuries were reported as a result of the violence.
