RIMES CONFIRMS DIVORCE

LEANN RIMES has confirmed her marriage to dancer DEAN SHEREMET is over - the couple is to divorce after seven years of marriage.
The pair's relationship was put in the spotlight earlier this year (09) when the Blue singer was caught on camera kissing her Northern Lights co-star Eddie Cibrian during a secret dinner date.
Both stars denied reports of an affair, but the rumours never went away. Gossip was fuelled when Cibrian split from his wife Brandi Glanville last month (Aug09) and she subsequently announced their plans to divorce.
Rimes was rumoured to have split from Sheremet, but never confirmed the reports. She was later spotted out and about with Cibrian in California - sparking further speculation about her crumbling marriage.
Now the singer has opened up about the drama - revealing her relationship with Sheremet is definitely over.
She writes on her official website, "After much thoughtful mutual consideration, Deane (sic) and I have agreed to move forward with dissolving our marriage. This decision was amicable and we remain committed and caring friends with great admiration for one another. Thank you so much for all of your continued love and support - it is deeply appreciated.”
