RIDGELEY TOO NERVOUS FOR WHAM! REUNION
GEORGE MICHAEL was left disappointed on Sunday night (17DEC06) when his planned WHAM! reunion failed to materialise - because ANDREW RIDGELEY was reportedly too nervous to take to the stage.
The former pop duo last performed together 20 years ago (86) and were due to be reunited at Michael's concert at London's Wembley Arena gig.
But Ridgeley dropped out at the last moment, overcome with anxiety, according to British newspaper The Sun.
A source says, "George had pleaded with Andrew to join him on stage to play a couple of Wham! songs.
"But Andrew was so sick with nerves at the thought of appearing on stage after all these years, he backed out."
