LIONEL RICHIE is enjoying the single life too much to settle down, insisting his fame would cause all sorts of relationship problems. The HELLO singer split from his second wife DIANE ALEXANDER RICHIE in 2004 after eight years of marriage, and their divorce hit the headlines when Mrs Richie allegedly demanded a monthly allowance of $300,000 (GBP160,000) for her upkeep. The former COMMODORES frontman says, "I'm happy where I am. I don't have to worry about anyone else any more. "When you're married you have responsibilities, and I wrote this new album as a single man. "It's difficult for me to do the dating thing. I would hate all the 'kiss and tells'. I like the idea of not being attached. But my next album will be called ON THE HUNT!"
