RICHARDS: 'SPLIT COULD HAVE BEEN MORE MATURE'

DENISE RICHARDS thinks everyone involved in her divorce to CHARLIE SHEEN and the split between her current beau RICHIE SAMBORA and his ex-wife HEATHER LOCKLEAR could have handled the situation more maturely. The Bond actress started dating Bon Jovi musician Sambora last year (Apr06), after he'd split from her former pal Locklear and Richards had separated from Sheen. Richards hasn't spoken to the Melrose Place actress in months, but she now thinks the situation could have been handled differently. She says, "I understand why Heather was upset. I get that. I'm not defending it. I would feel the same way she did. I do believe everyone involved could have handled it more maturely."
