RICHARDS BLAMES PAPARAZZI FOR PENSIONER INJURY

LATEST: A spokeswoman for actress DENISE RICHARDS insists her client shouldn't be blamed for hurting an elderly woman when she threw two photographers' laptops off a hotel balcony in Canada on Wednesday (08NOV06). The WILD THINGS star is currently filming BLONDE AND BLONDER with PAMELA ANDERSON in Vancouver, British Columbia and was reportedly annoyed to find two unauthorised paparazzo on set at the River Rock Casino Resort. The equipment allegedly struck an 80-year-old woman in a wheelchair below in the arm. But Richards' publicist NICOLE PEREZ insists the star was driven to exasperation by snappers hounding her at work. She says, "Based on the actions of the paparazzi, they are lucky their laptops were the only things that were thrown off the ledge." Richards' victim is not pressing charges.
