RICHARDS BAFFLED BY 'FASHION ICON' STATUS

THE ROLLING STONES star KEITH RICHARDS is confused by his status as a "fashion icon" - because his bandmate CHARLIE WATTS is the most stylish member of the group.
The legendary guitarist recently signed up to front a major advertising campaign for French fashion house Louis Vuitton - but Richards can't understand why he was chosen to represent such a famous high-end designer, because he never puts any effort into his own wardrobe selection.
And he admits drummer Watts would have been a much more obvious choice.
He says, "Charlie Watts is the most stylish member. He spends his time on the beauty and the cut of the clothing.
"There he is on Savile Row (London street famed for its tailors), and I'm the fashion icon? Fashion thinks more about me than I think about it."
