RICHARD SLAMS INTRUSIVE MEDIA
British singer SIR CLIFF RICHARD has hit out at the media over speculation about his sexuality - insisting he is "sick to death" of rumours he is gay.
The star's sexuality has long been the subject of speculation and Richard continually refuses to confirm or deny he is gay.
And now he has criticised the press for focusing on his lovelife rather than his music.
He writes in his autobiography, My Life, My Way, "As for my sexuality, I am sick to death of the media's speculation about it.
"What business is it of anyone else's what any of us are as individuals? I don't think my fans would care either way."
And Richard goes on to give his approval to same-sex unions.
He adds, "Same-sex marriages are perhaps a modern example of how things have changed. I think the (Christian) Church must come round and see people as they are now. Gone are the days when we assumed loving relationships would be solely between men and women."

As one of Cliff's royal fans, I would like to state that Cliff's talent as a singer
has no relation with his sexuality. Even he happens to be a gay, the fact will not
change that I have grown up and become aged with his songs.
As you can guess from my childhood nickname, his songs and images of him brought
me a lot of sweet happiness feelings, and I know that it will continue till my end.
I thank and salute to his 50 years of hard work and devotion to his profession.
Its not ouer business what other ppl do in bed and with whom they do, thats a privit
matter.
I think when Cliff said he isnt a gay believe him, he is the only person who knows
he is or not.
I dont mind when he is, but I believe him when he denied.
Its his music whats count and not more.
