RICH FILES LAWSUIT AGAINST REALITY STAR
Country singer JOHN RICH has filed a defamation lawsuit against a former contestant on U.S. reality TV show NASHVILLE STAR.
Rich - an ex-judge on the country music talent show - filed papers on Monday (06Apr09) claiming Jared Ashley, who featured in the fourth season of the programme, had defamed him.
Rich claims Ashley entered his private club without permission last month (09) and had to be removed by security. The star insists Ashley later falsely stated during a radio interview that Rich had hit him that night.
The star is seeking seeking unspecified damages in the suit.
