RICH BOY FACES LEGAL TROUBLE OVER OUTSTANDING DEBT
Rapper RICH BOY faces losing properties he owns in Atlanta, Georgia - because he's failed to pay up $312,500 (GBP215,520) he owes in relation to a 2005 road rage incident.
The Throw Some D's MC, real name Marece Richards, was successfully sued by tax accountant Chaz Mosley of Mobile, Alabama after he and his brother, Irvin O. Richards, were found guilty of shooting at Mosley with an assault rifle following a heated argument.
Irvin was sentenced to 10 years behind bars for his part in the crime, while Marece was given probation.
However, Mosley has yet to receive the full payment of $337,500 (GBP232,760) he was rewarded in the lawsuit, and is now seeking several liens - forms of security interest - on homes the rapper owns in Atlanta, Georgia to pay off the debt.
Mosley filed his request at Fulton County Superior Court in Georgia earlier this week (begs12Jan09).
