CHRISTINA RICCI has had the lion character ASLAN from C.S. LEWIS' THE LION, THE WITCH AND THE WARDROBE tattooed on her back.
The actress isn't touting for a role in the new movie series based on the books - she insists the body art symbolises her difficult adolescence.
Former child star Ricci, 27, explains, *It's Aslan, the lion from The Lion, The Witch And The Wardrobe. It's a symbol of my hellish childhood. I struggled through my oppressive teenage years and when I turned 18 I escaped. Like Aslan I was finally free."
