RICCI ADOPTS SUGAR DIET TO PLAY UNHEALTHY RAE

Actress CHRISTINA RICCI developed her unhealthy look in new movie BLACK SNAKE MOAN by eating nothing but sugar in the weeks leading up to filming. The SLEEPY HOLLOW star is receiving great acclaim for her role as a chained-up nymphomaniac, called RAE, in the sexually-charged drama and she perfected the part by eating raw sugar and candy. She explains, "I wanted her (character) to look really unhealthy and like someone who didn't take care of herself. "Someone mentioned something about her looking like she's only been fed sugar her whole life, so I started to eat only sugar, basically nothing with nutritional value and it kind of worked because I look really unhealthy in the movie."
