RHYS LIED TO TV BOSSES OVER RIDING ACCIDENT
MATTHEW RHYS defied a horseriding ban from bosses of his TV show BROTHERS + SISTERS - and ended up with a black eye.
The Welsh actor ignored an insurance contract forbidding him from taking part in dangerous activities to star in his own Welsh TV show, The Magnificent Seven with Matthew Rhys, in which he learns how to become a cowboy.
And Rhys admits he had some explaining to do to his Disney bosses when he ended up suffering an injury while riding.
He says, "I had to rope a calf and its hoof went straight into my face. I pretended I'd had an accident at a wedding."
