RHYMES SWITCHES FILMING TO NEW JERSEY

Rapper/actor BUSTA RHYMES has begun shooting scenes for new movie ORDER OF REDEMPTION in Newark, New Jersey - just days after he was banned from filming in New York due to concerns over public safety. Rhymes - real name TREVOR SMITH - was absent from the first day of filming in New York last week (10MAR07) after police warned he was a concern to public safety. However, the star has bypassed Manhattan authorities by shooting in the neighbouring state of New Jersey. Spokeswoman for Newark Mayor CORY BOOKER, LUPE TODD,says, "As far as we know, Busta Rhymes was acting accordingly and we thank him for his business." The crime drama's producer JASON WEBB is unfazed by the police attention Rhymes' presence has garnered, insisting he has been nothing but professional. He adds, "Busta Rhymes is an extremely talented actor. He is appreciative of us sticking with him." Cops have attempted to question Rhymes as a potential witness in the February 2006 fatal shooting of his bodyguard ISRAEL RAMIREZ, but he has refused to cooperate with authorities.
