RHAMES' DOG VICTIM NAMED
LATEST: The caretaker attacked by dogs reportedly belonging to VING RHAMES has been named as the actor's caretaker, Jacob Adams.
The deceased man, 40, was pronounced dead on the scene in front of Rhames' Brentwood, California, home on Friday (03Aug07) morning.
Part of his job was to look after the actor's dogs - which include three mastiffs and one bulldog.
But the cause of death remains uncertain.
Coroner Ed Winter said: "It's premature to say how he died. We don't know if he was attacked by the dogs and suffered a heart attack."
The Pulp Fiction star was not at home at the time of the mauling, and is thought to be out of the country shooting a movie.
The autopsy will be carried out on Monday (06Aug07).
