REED'S HOPE FOR WINEHOUSE

Rocker LOU REED has offered his support to troubled singer AMY WINEHOUSE, after dubbing her his favourite current star. The Velvet Underground star is hooked on Winehouse's second album Back To Black, and also admits he's a huge Killers fan - after collaborating with the Las Vegas Band on a new track. He tells Pitchfork, "I like Amy Winehouse - I hope everything's ok with her, but what a great song," adding, "The Killers are a genuinely great band."
