REED LASHES OUT AT NOISY REVELLERS

Veteran rocker LOU REED stormed off stage during a performance at a New York museum this week (begs22Jun09) after becoming infuriated by the noise revellers were making at the bar.
The singer made an appearance at The Whitney Museum of American Art on Tuesday (23Jun09) to celebrate the opening of the Persol Incognito Design Exhibition.
But he cut short his gig after lashing out at guests for disrupting his set by toasting the exhibition launch with their alcoholic beverages.
A source tells the New York Post's gossip column Page Six, "He didn't want to hear the clinking of glasses. He kept telling the crowd to shut the f**k up (before) he walked off staged yelling that the bar is open."
