REDMOND O'NEAL 'DOING MUCH BETTER' AFTER REHAB

LATEST: FARRAH FAWCETT and RYAN O'NEAL's son REDMOND has been praised by a judge for his battle against drug addiction after completing a two-week rehab programme.
The 23-year-old and his famous father were arrested during a raid on the family home in Malibu, California last month (Sep08) - after police uncovered a stash of methamphetamines.
Ryan O'Neal has denied any link to the drugs.
Redmond, who was on three years probation for drug possession and driving under the influence, confessed to relapsing in his battle against addiction, and a Los Angeles Superior Court judge ordered him back to rehab earlier this month (Oct08).
He returned to court on Thursday (23Oct08) where Superior Court Judge Scott Millington praised his efforts.
When asked how he was, Redmond said, "Doing a lot better."
Millington replied, "You're looking a lot better from the last time I saw you. You're on the right path. I know it's easy to stray. Stay clean."
Redmond also informed the court that he will be enrolling in a further drug treatment programme.
He has been battling addiction to narcotics for years, and was first admitted to rehab for heroin abuse in 2004.
