Semi-celebrity REBECCA LOOS has claimed the Beckhams have her to thank for their strong marriage in an interview with a US magazine.

The former personal assistant to DAVID BECKHAM, who claims to have had an affair with the football legend two years ago, said that the couple "should be glad that it [the alleged affair] happened".

She said: "It's made them stronger. They even went on to have another kind. Everything happens for a reason, even bad things."

Loos continued: "I think their marriage is stronger than ever and it's like Victoria says, it's bad things like the affair that have made it stronger. Victoria's stuck by David and that's the main thing."

Loos has launched a semi-celebrity career on the back of the allegations, frequently appearing on reality TV shows such as Celebrity Love Island and the X Factor.

However, Loos, 30, claims she may yet run into the Beckhams again in LA.

"I've lots of projects coming up. I love LA and I go every year," she said.

"It's a bit plastic fantastic, and one week is enough for me there - but some people like that. I think David and Victoria will enjoy LA."
