RAZORLIGHT MAKE A SURPRISE APPEARANCE AT MENCAP'S CONCERT

RAZORLIGHT treated fans to a surprise appearance at Mencap's Little Noise Sessions show last night.

Lead singer JOHNNY BORRELL and drummer ANDY BURROWS played an acoustic set including AMERICA, BEFORE I FALL TO PIECES and new song HOSTAGE OF LOVE.

During the set Borrell joked: "Andy's a drummer so he's a bit nervous about playing guitar but here we go," according to NME.

The music magazine reported that host JO WHILEY asked the boys if they would headline at the Little Noise Sessions next year and received a positive response.

Other acts performing last night included THE TING TINGS, BILLY BRAGG and headliner KATE NASH.

The eight concerts have provided fans with many surprises. Last week BONO and THE EDGE from U2 made an impromptu appearance on the stage at the Union Chapel.

RAZORLIGHT are part of an all star line-up playing at Ellis Park on December 1st as part of NELSON MANDELA's 46664 World Aids Day concert.

Other performers include ANNIE LENNOX, GOO GOO DOLLS and PETER GABRIEL.
