RAW PINK MAKES A CONNECTION WITH AUSTRALIANS

PINK has become a phenomenon in Australia - because she's rough and ready.
The pop superstar has just completed an unprecedented 58-date arena tour Down Under and is beginning to understand why she's such a big draw there.
She says, "Australia likes their artists to be rugged and raw and authentic."
And she fears her success in Australia is the reason why she occasionally struggles to succeed in her native America.
Pink tells Rolling Stone magazine, "America likes their artists to be glamorous and a little more packaged and glossy - like the difference between me and Beyonce.
"She's just beautiful, she's multi-talented, and she lives this jet-set lifestyle. And then there's me: You would picture me out in a field boxing a kangaroo with make-up running down my face, crying about something that happened a week ago."
