RAPPER COOLIO FINISHES THIRD IN CELEBRITY BIG BROTHER

Grammy winner Coolio has finished in third place in the current series of Celebrity Big Brother.

The Gangsta's Paradise star has become the latest contestant voted off the Channel 4 reality show.

Despite upsetting many of the female contestants and provoking viewer complaints, many had labelled Coolio one of the stars of the series.

He follows former boyband member Ben Adams and actor Verne Troyer out of the Celebrity Big Brother house.

Troyer, 40, finished fourth in the competition, with 27-year-old Adams in fifth.

As he left, the ex-A1 star joked: "I hate you all and I hope you fall in a ditch."

The diminutive Austin Powers actor had been the favourite to win the current series.

He made light of the night on which he drunkenly crashed his mobility scooter into the Diary Room door, saying: "I've done it so many times, I've even fallen off! Scrapes, bruises - it's just another thing."

Television presenters Ulrika Jonsson and Terry Christian are the two remaining housemates.
