RAPPER CHIPMUNK TAKES TIME OFF

U.K. rapper CHIPMUNK has cancelled a string of performances to rest at home after his hectic schedule left him feeling weary and low.
The star - real name Jahmaal Fyffe - sparked concerns for his health after posting alarming messages about suicide on his Twitter.com page over the weekend (07-08Nov09).
The messages, which have since been removed, read: "I wanna die" and "Is suicide easy?"
The Oopsy Daisy hitmaker pulled out of a promotional appearance on Monday (09Nov09) and has now decided to axe upcoming gigs so he can recover with family at his London home.
A spokesperson confirms, "Chipmunk has been working incredibly hard, which has taken its toll. Management have agreed to cancel all upcoming appearances to give him some much needed time off."
