RAPPER CANNON RECOVERING FROM 'FREAK' SHOOTING

Rapper LUCE CANNON is recovering from surgery after fellow hip-hop star STICKY FINGAZ accidentally shot him in the leg.
Sticky Fingaz - real name Kirk Jones - was showing Cannon a gun he owned when the weapon was fired, hitting him in the leg, reports TMZ.com.
The bullet shattered the bone in Cannon's shin and he was rushed to hospital for emergency surgery last week (beg08Jun09).
Doctors were unable to remove the bullet, and the rapper is due back in hospital later this week (beg15Jun09).
No charges have been filed, and Cannon has branded the incident "a freak accident".
