RAPPER BECK KILLED

Rapper MIKE BECK has been shot dead in New York, according to reports.
The star, a member of Fat Joe's K.A.R. collective, was gunned down in Brooklyn on Friday (30Oct09) during an attempted robbery, according to BallerStatus.com.
Fellow rapper N.O.R.E. paid tribute to his pal in a post on his personal Twitter.com page. He writes, "Rest in peace. He was a real dude, Mike Beck. I did records for him (sic) and he ate in my crib, 'n drank too. F**ked up my weekend. R.I.P."
