RAP SUPERGROUPS REUNITE FOR ROCK THE BELLS
Rap supergroups the PHARCYDE and A TRIBE CALLED QUEST are to reunite for this year's (08) Rock The Bells tour.
The hip-hop 'festival' has become famous for bringing bands back together - the Wu-Tang Clan and Rage Against The MAChine have both reformed for shows in recent years.
And now the event will boast a double reunion with A Tribe Called Quest headlining the trek six years after the band split.
Band member Ali Shaheed Muhammad insists he can't wait to hit the stage with his former bandmates: "We haven't been in the same room together since 1994. I'm really amped right now."
Also on the bill are De La Soul, Rakim, Nas, Mos Def and Wu-Tang Clan star Raekwon.
This summer's (08) Rock The Bells tour will kick off in Chicago, Illinois on 19 July (08).
