* Knight Appeals For Judge To Overturn $130 Million Ruling. Hip-Hop Mogul Marion 'Suge' Knight Is Urging A Los Angeles Judge To Dismiss A $130 Million (£65 Million) Ruling Against Him, Alleging It Is Fraudulent. The Former Death Row Records Boss Was Ordered To Make The Payout In March 2005 To Singer Lydia Harris, After She Accused Him Of Forcing Her Out Of A Job Despite Helping To Set Up The Notorious Music Label With Her Then-Husband Michael 'Harry-O' Harris. The Case Never Went To Trial, But The Ruling Was Made After Knight's Attorneys Broke Various Court Rules And Failed To Make The Star's Financial Records Readily Available To The Prosecution. But Knight's Legal Team Filed An Appeal In Los Angeles Superior Court On Wednesday (02Jan08) Asking For The Previous Ruling To Be Overturned, After New Evidence Came To Light Of Harris And Her Now Incarcerated Ex's Criminal Past. The Suit Claims Harris Concealed Information About Her Own Financial Difficulties During Court Proceedings In 2005, And Did Not Reveal To The Court That She Had Filed For Bankruptcy Five Years Earlier (00). During That Time, She Also Failed To Stake A Claim In Death Row, Prompting Knight's Lawyers To Become Suspicious Of Harris' Actual Intent. Knight Himself Filed For Bankruptcy In April 2006 As A Result Of The Multi-Million Dollar Ruling, Reports Sohh.Com. (Mt/Wnwcso/Cg). Usa. 03.01.08. . Marion 'Suge' Knight Leaving Les Deux Nightclub.
