RAMSAY CLEARED OVER PUFFIN KILLING
TV chef GORDON RAMSAY has been cleared by British broadcasting officials after he provoked outrage by cooking and eating puffins on his show THE F WORD.
Bosses at British network Channel 4 were inundated with complaints after viewers watched him on location in Iceland, killing and skinning the birds and serving up their hearts - a delicacy in the country.
But watchdog Ofcom has ruled the bird is not protected in Iceland and its consumption is a popular part of the nation's diet.

I do not think that it is right to kill puffins even though it is a native dish
of Iceland.
If Gordon Ramsay is criticised for doing so, then what about Andrew Zimmern on
the Travel Channel.
He hosts Bizarre Foods and he did the same thing on a trip to Iceland. He
regularly eats what a lot of persons may say is reprehensible. He travels all
over the world and eats food native to that country.
Even though I don't agree with what Gordon Ramsay
did; if he was criticised, then so should Zimmern.
