RAMPLING THREATENS TO SUE OVER UNPUBLISHED BIOGRAPHY

British actress CHARLOTTE RAMPLING is threatening to sue publishers if a completed biography about her life hits store shelves.
Author Barbara Victor has finished a manuscript about the star, who she claims gave her full access to her family and friends before unexpectedly backing out of the project.
The biography was marketed by Bloomsbury Publishing as "the unvarnished story of a creative and sexually adventurous woman who overcomes depression and tragedy to find success on her own terms".
A spokesperson for Rampling tells Britain's Daily Mail newspaper the book is an infringement of Rampling's "right to privacy under the Human Rights Act".
But Victor is baffled the Swimming Pool actress is seeking to take legal action to bar the tome after personally corresponding with the star.
She tells the New York Post, "I've been friends with her for 12 years, and spent two years interviewing everyone under the sun. And now she's backed out overnight... I've written 15 books and never been sued."
