RAMONES MOVIE GETS GREEN LIGHT

Former EVERYBODY LOVES RAYMOND executive producer RORY ROSEGARTEN has secured the rights to a feature film about punk rock band the RAMONES. Rosegarten has optioned I SLEPT WITH JOEY RAMONE, the authorised biography of the lead singer written by his brother MICKEY LEIGH and punk rock chronicler LEGS MCNEIL. Rosegarten has also negotiated a deal with the late rocker's mother CHARLOTTE LESHER, who is the executor of Ramone's estate, to give him access to the band's back catalogue.
