RAMMSTEIN REPLACE LINDEMANN WITH ENSCH

German industrial rockers RAMMSTEIN have acted quickly to replace frontman TILL LINDEMANN, who announced his plans to quit the group on Friday (13Jul07). In what was a very unlucky Friday the 13th for the band, Lindemann revealed he would be leaving Rammstein once work on the group's new album had been completed. A spokesman for the singer says, "Till's decision is mainly based on the increasing inharmoniousness within the band and was well deliberated. "He will head now for other challenges which can be a solo career or maybe a new project." The source reveals Rammstein founders Richard Kruspe and Christoph Schneider considered disbanding the group following Lindemann's announcement. The spokesman adds, "The band has decided not to quit but announce a new singer... We still have so much fun doing Rammstein we looked for a new singer who is charismatic in his own way without copying Till." And they've already found their man - former KMFDM frontman EN ESCH. In a band statement, Schneider and Kruspe say, "We all will miss Till Lindemann who gave us many years of joy... Please welcome the talented En Esch - Till's footsteps are big, but maybe he can dry our tears rapidly."
