RAGE 'NOT PLAYING BOOSH'

RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE will not be appearing at THE MIGHTY BOOSH festival, despite newspaper reports.

A report in one of today's British tabloids said that the US hard rockers had "confirmed they want a piece of the psychedelic action", suggesting they would be playing at the comedy duo's festival on July 5th.

The band are set to perform much-anticipated headline slots at the Reading and Leeds festivals on August 22nd to 24th and organisers have insisted they will only be playing their event.

"It's not true," a spokesperson told NME. "The only English performances are at the Reading and Leeds Festivals."

THE MIGHTY BOOSH have confirmed several acts for their festival which takes place in Kent on 5th July, including THE CHARLATANS and GARY NUMAN.

The comedy duo, Julian Barrattt and Noel Fielding, have also formed their own band which will headline the event.
