RADIOHEAD WEBCAST 'THIS EVENING'

Giddy with the weight of their In Rainbows publicity, Radiohead are reportedly set for another venture into the world of webcasts this evening.

According to NME the Oxford band are due to repeat the online heroics experienced last night by viewers of radiohead.tv.

Currently promoting their seventh studio album, which saw its online release let fans name their own price for the record, Radiohead are busy actively pushing their unique attitude forward in the best ways they know how.

Stanley Donwood had informed readers of the fans' Dead Air Space website yesterday that there would be "something on the box" and the NME reported the 'testcast' occuring last night.

Donwood said engineers had worked hard to "resolve the entanglement" and get the testcast underway, "weather permitting".

NME described frontman Thom Yorke DJ-ing before the band performed Unravel, a track from Bjork's Homogenic album, in a rehearsal studio.

The 'testcast' may be a precursor to tonight's rumoured webcast on radiohead.tv, which Adam Buxton revealed on his BBC 6Music show that he would be helping out on.

The webcast, due to take place later this evening, is expected to begin between 21:00 GMT and midnight.
