RADIOHEAD MAKE VIDEO WITHOUT CAMERAS
In typically contrary fashion, RADIOHEAD have made a video that did no necessitate the use of cameras.
After recently taking the controversial step of allowing fans to download their latest album for free, the band have now made a video which uses laser technology, reports the Guardian.
The band collaborated with director James Frost to create 3D images of Thom Yorke's face using Geometric Informatics and Velodyne Lidar technologies.
"I always like the idea of using technology in a way that it wasn't meant to be used, the struggle to get your head around what you can do with it," Yorke said in a statement.
"I liked the idea of making a video of human beings and real life and time without using any cameras, just lasers, so there are just mathematical points - and how strangely emotional it ended up being."
The band pledged not to make any conventional videos to accompany material from their IN RAINBOWS album.
