RADIOHEAD CONFIRMED FOR 2009 GRAMMYS APPEARANCE

Grammy nominees Radiohead are to perform at the Los Angeles ceremony next month, it has been announced.

The Oxford-based quintet are nominated for the album of the year prize for In Rainbows as well as best rock song and best rock performance.

The band's performance will be their first live appearance on US television for nearly nine years.

Other acts already confirmed for the February 8th show are Katy Perry, the Jonas Brothers and Justin Timberlake.

Sir Paul McCartney is to perform, with Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl backing him on the drums, while T.I. and Timberlake will appear together.

And in an exclusive collaboration for the 51st Annual Grammy awards, Jay-Z, T.I., Kanye West and Lil Wayne will team up to perform the hit single Swagga Like Us.

Jennifer Hudson, Kenny Chesney and Carrie Underwood have also been added to the lineup for the 2009 Grammys.
