RACHEL RICE WINS BIG BROTHER 9
Trainee teacher Rachel Rice has won Big Brother nine, beating blind radio producer Mikey Hughes to the £100,000 cash prize.
Rachel was not the favourite and won with 51.3 per cent of the vote. On hearing the news, she said: "Oh my god, no way!" and hugged Mikey.
Runner-up Mikey shouted "I'm glad you won Rachel," before walking out of the Big Brother house to greet Davina.
Albino Darnell Swallow was the first housemate to be evicted in last night's final followed by chef Rex Newmark and Australian PA Sara Folino.
Rice, 24, from Torfaen in south Wales, is a former child actor who featured alongside Hugh Grant in the film Night Train to Venice when she was eight years old.
The ninth series of Big Brother, which lasted for 93 days, was the least popular in the show's history. At its peak, the reality show could pull in nine million viewers, but in this series it barely managed three million.
