QUINN TOPS UK ALBUM CHART
Talent show loser RAY QUINN's debut album has soared straight to the top of the UK album chart.
The 18-year-old crooner's LP DOING IT MY WAY beat off competition from THE X FACTOR rival BEN MILLS, whose album PICTURE OF YOU reached third. TAKE THAT'S comeback album BEAUTIFUL WORLD, is second.
In the singles chart, WALK THIS WAY, SUGABABES vs GIRLS ALOUD's charity track hit the top spot. GWEN STEFANI featuring AKON is second, followed by a charity cover version of THE PROCLAIMERS' (I'M GONNA BE) 500 MILES, performed by comedians PETER KAY and MATT LUCAS. TAKE THAT's SHINE is fourth.
