QUEEN MARK WORLD AIDS DAY WITH CONCERT MOVIE

Rockers QUEEN are marking Monday's (01Dec08) World Aids Day with a series of preview screenings of their concert movie LET THE COSMOS ROCK in Britain.
Thirty nine Vue cinemas across the U.K. will screen the David Mallet film throughout the day. Proceeds from ticket sales will benefit British Aids charities.
Let the Cosmos Rock chronicles Queen + Paul Rodgers' historic September (08) concert in the Ukraine, where the band performed for 350,000 fans.
World Aids Day has always meant a great deal to Queen founders Roger Taylor and Brian May - former frontman and friend Freddie Mercury died after contracting the virus.
