PROWSE SCEPTICAL ABOUT CONDENSED STAR WARS SHOW
STAR WARS actor DAVID PROWSE is unconvinced the Reduced Shakespeare Company's condensed show based on the sci-fi movies will do justice to GEORGE LUCAS' hit franchise. Prowse played DARTH VADER in the original trilogy of movies while American actor JAMES EARL JONES provided the voice for the arch-villain - and he is amazed the theatre group has managed to reduce 13 hours of material into a 20-minute stage show.. He says, "I don't know how well it will work. "Hopefully, they won't make the same mistake as the film people, who never realised right at the beginning that Vader was the cult figure of the whole movie series. "More than anything, I hope they don't find room in the 20 minutes for those ridiculous teddy-bear Ewoks. I couldn't stand them."
