PRODUCERS LOOK AT BUTTON TECHNOLOGY TO AGE POTTER KIDS
The brains behind the last HARRY POTTER film are looking to use technology that aged BRAD PITT in THE CURIOUS CASE OF BENJAMIN BUTTON to give the 20-something stars of the film franchise a more mature look.
Boy wizard Potter, played by Daniel Radcliffe, and his pals Hermione and Ron have to grow up quickly in the two-part finale, Harry Potter & The Deathly Hallows, and director David Yates and producer David Heyman aren't going to take the magical scenes lightly.
Yates says, "We're still exploring how we're gonna do that. It's an absolutely beautiful part of the (J.K. Rowling) book and one of the most unique things of this franchise is the fact that you've grown up with these characters and that's what makes it special for the audience.
"We will be delivering that at the end of part two, and we're looking at various options of how we do it."
And Heyman adds, "A lot of Benjamin Button is making them look younger and we're taking people, who are 20 years old, and making them look like they're in their late 30s, so that's a different experience.
"We may use some of the techniques that they did in Benjamin Button, but we're going to do everything we can and it will be Daniel, Emma and Rupert in the parts and not some other actors."
