PRIMAL SCREAM'S ABBA INSPIRATION

Swedish pop band ABBA were the inspiration for PRIMAL SCREAM's forthcoming album BEAUTIFUL FUTURE, according to frontman BOBBY GILLESPIE.
The Scottish rock band are such fans of the Waterloo hitmakers they travelled to Sweden - so they could use the same percussion instruments favoured by the legendary stars.
Gillespie explains, "We went to the studio in Stockholm where Abba recorded all their big hits.
"The marimba on our new songs Uptown and The Glory Of Love is the same marimba as on S.O.S. and Money, Money, Money. And the Dancing Queen piano is on there somewhere as well."
