PRESTON TO TAKE CENTRE STAGE AT GRIEF & RESILIENCE PANEL

Actress KELLY PRESTON will break her silence about her son JETT's death in January (09) at the California Governor's Conference for Women in October (09).
The Jerry Maguire star and her husband John Travolta have pulled out of all public events since the tragedy, but she has agreed to talk about her loss, according to conference host Maria Shriver.
She tells People.com, "If she can empower one other woman who feels like they can’t get out of bed, or get through the day, whatever the loss, it'll be worthwhile sharing her story."
Preston will join fellow actress Susan St. James on a Grief & Resilience panel, and Shriver admits it has taken her two months to persuade Travolta's wife to take part: "She has been thinking about this for a couple of months. I asked her to speak and she knew about the conference and decided if she was only going to speak once, it would be here. She wants the conversation to be about more than just her."
Caroline Kennedy, Alicia Keys, photographer Annie Leibovitz and racing driver Danica Patrick will be among the other women speaking at the conference.
