PRESSLY AND FIANCE SPLIT OVER GROWING SEPARATION

Actress JAIME PRESSLY split from her fiance ERIC CUBICHE because the DJ wasn't around enough.
The former couple ended its engagement in November (08) - 18 months after baby Dezi James was born.
And now Pressly has opened up about the split, insisting their relationship changed when Cubiche began spending more and more time away from home.
She tells America's Redbook magazine, "When I was pregnant, Eric's job changed. He became a travelling deejay. So he was gone a lot... We'd been best friends for so long, and now it was kind of like we were leading two separate lives.
"It's hard because when you're with somebody for a long time or have a child with someone, you start to expect them to be this person you had in mind. Then, if they don't fill the expectation, resentment starts to come up. Sometimes it just doesn't work."
Pressly has full custody of her son but insists, "Eric's very much a part of his life; he's a great father."
