POSH PLAYS BASEBALL IN LA

VICTORIA BECKHAM has stepped up her campaign to be a top fixture on the Hollywood celebrity scene, appearing at the LA Dodgers baseball stadium for a photoshoot.

The wife of football legend DAVID BECKHAM was filmed throwing the ceremonial pitch at a baseball game between the New York Mets and the Dodgers, which she had been practising for beforehand.

Victoria said she was "really nervous" about throwing the pitch, although onlookers said she had got most of her practice throws on target.

Before the start of the game she said: "I've been to lots of football stadiums, but this is something else.

"I'm going to do the best I can. It's a huge honour for me. David's going to be watching at home."

The Beckhams' imminent move to LA is big news and the couple are hot property - a fact not lost on Victoria as she continues filming for her own reality TV series.

Victoria's show, which includes the game at the Dodgers stadium, is being produced by SIMON FULLER - the man behind the Spice Girls and Beckham's move to the LA Galaxy.
