POSH LAUGHS OFF DIAZ SHOE SLIP UP

VICTORIA BECKHAM and CAMERON DIAZ made a bit of a fashion faux pas at the MTV Awards in the US, turning up in exactly the same pair of shoes.

But while the former SPICE GIRLS singer giggled off the mistake and the two chatted backstage about their £350 high-heels, Cameron was the one looking decidedly embarrassed and less than pleased.

Posh was at the awards to introduce US stars RHIANNA and JAY Z, making her first formal introduction to the nation.

She came onstage alongside American actor CHRIS TUCKER and received a warm applause from the crowd, albeit not as warm as the one her husband David received from England fans after his return to Wembley on Friday night.

But while Posh's assault on the US media has only just begun, she has already angered TV bosses by delaying filming on her £10 million deal to return to London to watch David in action over the weekend.

Speaking to GMTV, she explained that she is the only one in the US at the moment, preparing things for her family.

"I'm just going backwards and forwards trying to get everything ready; sorting out the house… I just want David and the boys to turn up and for it to be perfect for them."
