PORTISHEAD + THE VERVE RETURN TO AMERICA WITH COACHELLA SLOTS

PORTISHEAD and THE VERVE are to give this year's (08) Coachella Valley Music + Arts Festival in the California desert a British flavour after confirming headlining slots. The two groups join The Raconteurs, Jack Johnson, The Breeders and Rilo Kiley among the early confirmations for the three-day festival in April (08). Portishead's performance will be the group's first U.S. show in almost a decade, while the reformed The Verve's appearance will be their first in America since The Drugs Don't Work hitmakers split in 1999.
