PORTISHEAD STAR BACKTRACKS OVER DANGER MOUSE CRITICISM

LATEST: PORTISHEAD musician GEOFF BARROW has backtracked after dissing super producer DANGER MOUSE on his MySpace page, explaining he is just "grumpy". The DUMMY artist reacted angrily to a fan who suggested he should recruit GORILLAZ collaborator Danger Mouse to work on his group's new LP. He wrote, "I'd rather poo in my mum's Sunday roast than have Danger Mouse produce a Portishead record. No offence." He now explains, "Just to let you know after my rants the other day that were reported about a certain producer. I don't rate myself better or above anyone else. "It was purely a response to a message that suggested he should produce our album. And to be honest I'm a grumpy old f**k who hates everything, cheers."
